How do I register?
On the site, there is a page called “Register”. The user must create a name and password. The user must also include his/her email address. The user cannot successfully create a user name until they have read and agree with the site’s user agreement. Once the registration is complete, a note will appear confirming the registration.
How do I login?
Once a username is created, the user can navigate to the “Login” page. The user is required to insert their name and password correctly before seeing any personal information on the site.
How do I create my personal wish list?
In order to create your first (and many) wish lists, you must first register and log into our site. Once you are logged in, you must navigate to the “Create List” page. Once you named your wish list, it will give you an opportunity to add new items to the wish list.
How do I add items/edit my wish list?
Once a user is registered and logged into our site, they must navigate to the “Edit List” page of our site. Once they are here, they must select from the lists that have been previously created through a drop-down menu. Once the list is selected, the user will be able to add/delete items at will.
How can others view my list?
Once a wish list is created, it is assigned an individual Code in the form of a number. This code can be found after you log in under the “Check Codes” section of the web page. The guest users will have to go to the “Check List” part of the web page. Guests do not have to register or login in order to view wish lists. Users will then be able to share these code numbers with friends and family so that they can view lists and pick the items that they wish to buy.
How can a guest inform others of purchases from a wish list?
Once the guest user is able to view a wish list, they will see the numerous items that have not been purchased. Each item will include the name, price, URL and description. If the guest user decides that they will purchase this item, they will click on the button that says, “Plan to Purchase This Item”. When this happens, the item’s description turns red and the option to click on the purchase button disappears.
